Effective August 30, 2026
Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your access to and use of Flaunteur. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them and to our Community Guidelines.
Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 13 to use Flaunteur. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to your use where local law requires it, and must be involved in any offer, purchase, sale, trade, payment, delivery, or in-person meeting. Provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity through your account.
Your content and permissions
You keep ownership of content you submit. You give Flaunteur a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, reproduce, format, display, distribute, and make technical adaptations to that content only as needed to operate, promote, secure, and improve the service. This license ends when your content is deleted, except for reasonable backup, legal, moderation, and previously shared copies. You must have all rights and permissions needed to post the content, including permission from people shown in it.
Flaunteur is a marketplace platform
Flaunteur helps people display items, communicate, and, where secure checkout is available, arrange payment and shipping through third-party providers. Flaunteur is not the seller, buyer, auctioneer, appraiser, carrier, or insurer. Stripe provides payment processing and connected-account services; Shippo and the selected carrier provide rates, labels, and tracking. We do not guarantee identity, title, condition, authenticity, legality, provenance, price, delivery, or the conduct of another user.
Secure checkout, payouts, and shipping
Sellers using secure checkout must complete Stripe Connect onboarding and provide accurate private ship-from and parcel information. Buyers authorize the displayed item and shipping total on Stripe's hosted checkout. Sellers authorize Flaunteur to deduct the disclosed platform fee and the shipping amount retained to purchase the selected label before transferring seller proceeds through Stripe. A paid order does not guarantee carrier acceptance or delivery. Sellers must ship promptly, use the purchased label only for its order, and keep fulfillment information accurate. Payment disputes, refunds, reversals, carrier claims, taxes, and restricted-goods rules may be handled by Flaunteur, Stripe, Shippo, the carrier, or the transaction participants as applicable.
Offers, purchases, and trades
Users are responsible for descriptions, due diligence, pricing, payment, delivery, insurance, taxes, permits, export or import rules, and personal safety. Verify high-value items independently, use secure payment methods, protect personal information, and use safe public meeting practices. An offer or trade proposal sent through Flaunteur does not itself transfer ownership or require either person to complete a transaction.
Prohibited content and conduct
Do not use Flaunteur for illegal, stolen, counterfeit, recalled, dangerous, sexually exploitative, or fraudulently described items or content. Prohibited conduct includes harassment, hate, threats, exploitation of minors, impersonation, privacy violations, intellectual-property infringement, engagement manipulation, spam, malware, scraping without permission, security bypasses, and misleading provenance. Weapons, explosives, illegal drugs, protected species, and goods whose sale or transport is restricted may not be offered. Animals, plants, cultural property, and regulated goods must comply with all applicable welfare, biosecurity, trade, conservation, and licensing rules.
Moderation and reports
We may review, label, limit, hide, remove, preserve, or disclose content and may warn, restrict, suspend, or close accounts to enforce these terms, protect people, investigate reports, comply with law, or maintain Flaunteur. Administrators may access public content, reports, and relevant communications for these purposes. Enforcement decisions may consider context, severity, history, and risk.
Intellectual property
Flaunteur’s name, logo, interface, and original site content are protected by intellectual-property laws. Do not copy, modify, sell, or misuse them without permission. We respond to sufficiently detailed copyright notices and may terminate repeat infringers. See our Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy.
Service availability and disclaimers
Flaunteur is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Features may change, and interruptions, errors, or data loss can occur. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Nothing here excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Limits on liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flaunteur is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of profits, data, goodwill, or opportunity; user conduct; or user-arranged transactions. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Ending use and changes
You may stop using Flaunteur at any time. We may suspend or end access for violations, safety or legal risk, or discontinuation. Provisions that by their nature should survive will do so. We may update these terms and will post the effective date and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised terms.
